Reality was too expensive. We’re broke :)

02 / First ContactSmall Studio

This is our first game. We do not have investors, producers or a team of 300 developers. We have a few laptops, too many ideas and an unhealthy amount of confidence. Most of the project was built through trial and error, tutorials at 3AM and decisions that sounded smarter at the time.

STATUS REPORT

Pulsebreak is a fast-paced survival action game focused on movement, evolving builds and overwhelming enemy waves. Players combine upgrades, weapons and abilities to create unstable but powerful loadouts inside a low poly cyberpunk battlefield. Current development is focused on core combat systems, enemy behaviors and progression balancing.

CORE GAMEPLAY

  • Fast Movement Combat: Built around responsive WASD movement, dashing and constant repositioning during large enemy encounters.
  • Build Evolution: Players create powerful combinations through randomized upgrades, weapons and stacking modifiers.
  • Survival Scaling: Enemy density, aggression and arena pressure increase over time to force constant adaptation.
  • Low Poly Visual Identity: Minimal geometry allows cleaner combat readability and supports large-scale enemy chaos.

Production BeliefWhy This Works

A small studio should not look small. It should look specific.

The goal is simple: recognizable silhouettes, readable combat and a style that still looks good after being compressed by Steam five different times.
